CN-602 is an organosilane with active amine groups and hydrolyzable inorganic methoxysilyl bifunctional groups. This bifunctional group structure gives CN-602 special properties: it can organically bond inorganic materials (such as glass, metals, fillers) and organic polymers (such as thermoplastics, thermosets, or elastomers), thereby it acts as a reactant to promote adhesion, cross-linking agent and surface modifier, and product modification.
It is a colorless or light yellow transparent liquid with special ammonia smell, soluble in alcohols, chain hydrocarbons, aromatic hydrocarbons and other solvents.

Reaction properties In the presence of water, CN-602 will hydrolyze the silicon hydroxyl groups that generate active waves, forming bonds on the surface of various inorganic materials. CN-602 has organic amino groups that can react with suitable organic polymers.CN-602 can autocatalyze hydrolysis reaction. The PH value of the hydrolysate is about 10 ~ 11. Suitable inorganic materials like glass, fiberglass, glass wool, mineral wool, silica, sand, mica, aluminum hydroxide, cristobalite, wollastonite, kaolin, talc, other silicate fillers, metal oxides and metals. Resins that can be used in CN-602 include phenolic resin, furan, and silicone rubber. CN-602 can react in ketone or ester solvents.
