2024 iPad may adopt hybrid OLED technology

   According to the latest report released by DigiTimes, Apple may adopt a new "hybrid" OLED technology in the iPad in 2024, which is expected to further reduce the thickness of the iPad.

It is reported that hybrid OLED technology first appeared in a report in August this year.

  This technology combines rigid OLED glass substrate with flexible OLED film packaging, which not only realizes lower production cost than flexible OLED panel, but also ensures that the panel is more sophisticated than rigid OLED.

   At the same time, for Apple, this technology is better than the flexible OLED technology used at this stage because it has no tendency to shrink under the large screen.
